Ham'n Scram

A small family owned "breakfast spot" or "hole in the wall" that I was already a fan of before they opened a second location next to my home. Their breakfast burritos are popular enough they show up by the dozens at my office for large meetings. They value good food and good times and working on their craft, Ham.

A self-initiatated project, I wanted to create a custom lettered logotype and a pair of mascots to represent their restaurant. With saturday morning cartoon vibes and bright & sunny colors was my choice for this west coast breakfast spot.Â
Ham being the main figure is driven by the Westminster spirit to get down to work. While Scram has a bit of a rebellious spirit, making his way to Long Beach was a perfect fit. Â
They have some in-store merch, so I also expanded the designs to support punch cards, gift cards, hats, shirts and stickers.
I went ahead and handed off some of the work. They were excited to see it and I hope they can use it some time.
